Dr Tim Rutherford is a Melbourne dermatologist with a sub-specialisation in the field of detection and management of skin cancers, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and sun damage.

As a fully qualified fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, Dr Rutherford is experienced in the management of rashes, acne, eczema, psoriasis and all skin complaints. He has also completed a fellowship year in advanced cutaneous surgery, Mohs and laser surgery endorsed by the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He has extensive experience in surgery of the skin for both skin cancers, such as basal cell carcinoma and non-cancerous “cosmetic” lesions, treatment of other forms of sun damage and rashes.

Practicing in several locations across Melbourne, Dr Rutherford aims to provide the highest quality dermatological care and is able to provide advice on all skin concerns. Dr Rutherford believes patients with skin complaints are best served by offering a comprehensive range of treatments, including surgery in a comfortable environment.
